Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Handle registered and escalated customer support tickets, gather investigation details, reproduce issues, and prepare solutions.
• Work with infrastructure and development teams to diagnose and resolve platform issues and perform maintenance.
• Proactively monitor IT systems and document resolutions, processes, and operational procedures.
• Perform backups and restores, deployments and rollbacks, system cleanup, operating system and component upgrades, and security patching.
• Own customer requests through resolution in line with SLAs and incident management protocols.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong AWS knowledge.
• Linux and database administration experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with monitoring tools including CloudWatch and Datadog.
• Web-server configuration experience with Nginx and Apache.
• CI/CD experience with AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins.
• Network troubleshooting skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher, written and spoken.
• Upper-Intermediate German or higher, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
