Thesis: AI-Assisted CI/CD Lifecycle: Development, Migration, and Maintenance Across Platforms (AI)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global office in Sundsvall, Sweden. Start date: January or March 2027.

What you will do

• Implement an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline on one platform and migrate it to one or more additional platforms.
• Investigate how AI can assist with CI/CD development, platform-specific configuration understanding, and technology translation.
• Analyse pipeline executions, logs, and configurations to identify issues, security concerns, likely failure causes, and actionable recommendations.
• Compare AI integration capabilities across CI/CD platforms, including built-in solutions and custom interfaces.
• Develop proof-of-concept implementations for experimentation and evaluation rather than production use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation in June 2027.
• Fluency in Swedish, written and spoken.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or AI/LLM APIs.
