Playtest Operations Producer (Game Research)

Location: Hybrid role requiring on-site presence at the Los Angeles campus several days a week, with possible evening and weekend work on site.

What you will do

• Own operational execution, coordination, and accountability for assigned playtests.
• Recruit, screen, schedule, engage, and pay players for local and international research studies and playtests.
• Facilitate playtest labs by checking in players, configuring PCs and mobile devices, troubleshooting networking and streaming, and operating recording equipment.
• Manage shared resources, lab schedules, capacity planning, backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery tracking across research and playtest initiatives.
• Coordinate stakeholders, meetings, documentation, decisions, action items, and conflict resolution while removing blockers.
• Partner with researchers, developers, and internal teams to protect best practices, improve workflows, and communicate research and playtest insights.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in research operations or project management.
• Working knowledge of computer labs or complex audio/video setups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple information streams in a fast-paced environment and communicate across all mediums.
• Experience building roadmaps and schedules to track progress and delivery.
• Experience with project management frameworks such as Scrum and Agile.
• Experience with project management and productivity tools including Jira, Miro, and Notion.

Nice to have

• Research operations experience, including audience definitions, incidence rates, recruitment principles, survey sampling, or quantitative market research and social science techniques.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and HTML email templates.
• IT support or help desk troubleshooting experience.
• Audio and video editing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
