Principal Algorithm & Signal Processing Engineer (Electronic Warfare)

Location: <hirify.globalong>Woburn, Massachusetts, United Stateshirify.globalong>; additional role locations in Arlington, Virginia, and Dayton, Ohio. The position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Salary: $206,000–$284,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams and mentor researchers, scientists, and engineers.
• Architect RF sensing and electronic warfare algorithms from concept through operational prototype.
• Design and apply signal processing for complex RF sensing and counter-sensing challenges.
• Engage with customers to understand mission requirements and develop technical approaches, proposals, and program plans.
• Transition research technologies into operational prototypes and provide technical direction across programs.
• Support business development and lead proposal efforts shaping program and organizational direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 8–12+ years of relevant experience, depending on education and demonhirify.globalated expertise.
• Demonhirify.globalated leadership in radar, electronic warfare, RF sensing, or related defense technologies.
• Experience developing system modes and advanced signal- and data-processing algorithms from mathematical or analytical derivation through testing and system-performance verification.
• Expertise in at least two areas: RF sensing and radar signal processing, electronic warfare, optimization, waveform design, adaptive signal processing, AI/ML for RF applications, modeling and simulation, or systems engineering.
• Experience briefing technical work to customers, senior executives, and multidisciplinary audiences.
• Proficiency in one or more scientific or mathematical programming languages, such as MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.
• Experience as a researcher and technical leader in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments, with hirify.globalong mathematical, troubleshooting, written, verbal communication, and briefing skills.

Nice to have

• Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to apply novel, innovative, and interdisciplinary approaches to challenging engineering problems.
