RF Systems Engineer (Phased Arrays)

Location: Boston, MA; onsite

Salary: $125,000–$180,000 base per year plus equity

hirify.global is hiring for an early-stage semiconductor startup building advanced 3D integrated RF hardware for defense radar and low-Earth-orbit satellite communications.

What you will do

• Own the system-level RF architecture for next-generation radar and satellite communications hardware.
• Translate customer requirements into specifications for RFIC/MMIC, electromagnetic, and analog engineering.
• Develop and analyze phased arrays, beamformers, transceiver chains, and radar or SATCOM front-end architectures.
• Build link budgets and evaluate noise, linearity, EIRP, and dynamic range.
• Lead system-level hardware validation and over-the-air testing.

Requirements

• M.S. degree and 5+ years of experience, or Ph.D. degree and 2+ years of experience, in RF or mmWave systems engineering.
• Experience with radar, satellite communications, or wireless front ends.
• Hands-on experience with phased arrays, beamforming, link budgets, or RF system testing.
• System simulation experience with tools such as ADS, SystemVue, or MATLAB.
