Salary: $84,577.92–$110,250.00 annually

What you will do

• Design and build machine learning, informatics, predictive modeling, and data-driven healthcare solutions.
• Engineer workflows to collect, store, clean, process, and validate structured and unstructured clinical data.
• Deploy and integrate data products, models, and infrastructure into the healthcare technology ecosystem.
• Lead data-oriented projects through development, evaluation, deployment, go-live, and ongoing maintenance.
• Establish metrics, run experiments, quantify model impact and ROI, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, clinicians, operations, and administrative teams; contribute to best practices and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in machine learning or data science.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, including Python or R, and machine learning tools such as scikit-learn or R.
• Knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning design, development, evaluation, deployment, and scaling to large datasets.
• Familiarity with big-data computing models and technologies, including Hadoop, MapReduce, or Spark.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles and experience integrating modern software architectures.
• Knowledge and some experience with software development and deployment operations, including automation, testing, virtualization, and container technology.
• Knowledge of clinical and operational aspects of healthcare delivery, plus excellent written and oral communication skills for varied audiences.

Nice to have

• PhD in a quantitative field such as Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field, plus 2 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex machine learning models.
• Demonstrated software engineering and operational skills through prior projects.
