Head of Operational Excellence (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Dallas, Texas; based in Frisco, Texas, with responsibility for manufacturing sites in Frisco, TX and Seattle, WA

Salary: USD 173,760–260,640 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

• Create and manage manufacturing KPIs and performance dashboards across the Frisco and Seattle sites.
• Define, train, deploy, and improve operational standards including 5S, visual management, and root cause analysis.
• Institutionalize manufacturing budgeting, forecasting, controls, financial targets, and performance tracking.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives improving quality, delivery, efficiency, productivity, and cost performance.
• Coordinate senior and executive-level manufacturing reporting and own business office functions across both sites.
• Coach leaders and teams on Lean, continuous improvement, operational discipline, and sustained execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience leading operational excellence, Lean, or business office programs in a manufacturing environment across multiple sites.
• Ability to design, deploy, and sustain structured operational standards and improvement systems.
• Strong senior-level experience with budgeting, reporting, and performance management.
• Excellent communication skills and experience preparing executive-level summaries and presentations.
• Onsite work in Dallas, Texas, with regular operational responsibility for Frisco and Seattle manufacturing locations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or formal Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or complex hardware manufacturing.
• Proficiency with digital tools for KPI visualization, reporting automation, and business process tracking.
• Experience influencing change across large, cross-functional manufacturing organizations and multiple sites.
