Middle Strong QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) (AI)

hirify.global is building a greenfield mental health platform that delivers personalized, evidence-based digital interventions and helps academic institutions support students.

What you will do

• Perform manual and automated testing of the React Native student-facing iOS and Android applications and the web-based administrative console.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests for mobile and web applications.
• Test Node.js backend APIs, including server-side role-based access control and data isolation across universities in a multi-tenant environment.
• Conduct cross-browser testing across current and previous browser versions and test on real target devices before each release.
• Test AI-powered features for safety-rule compliance and correct escalation of potentially risky cases.
• Validate push notification, SMS, email, and video-delivery integrations; run automated suites in GitHub Actions across AWS environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of manual testing experience with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test automation for web and mobile applications.
• Experience setting up QA processes and test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions, and AWS environments.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Healthcare domain experience and understanding of HIPAA requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective work in a cross-functional team.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance and load testing.
