Airbus UpNext - Flight Control System Test Engineer (m/f)

Location: Toulouse, France, with occasional travel to Cazaux. The position is expected to run until the estimated end of July 2029.

What you will do

• Prepare test procedures for the ATA27 Flight Control System perimeter.
• Perform tests on the Hardware-in-the-Loop System test bench.
• Analyze and deliver flight control system test results.
• Provide verification and validation documentation linked to HILS testing.
• Collaborate with program management and technical work package leaders within the Overall Systems Design team.
• Adapt to evolving project tasks and propose simpler, more efficient ways of working.

Requirements

• Aeronautical engineering degree from a graduate school or university.
• Significant experience in systems verification, validation, and testing.
• Good knowledge of ATA27 Flight Control Systems.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented, autonomous, adaptable, accountable, and communicative approach.
• Ability to take initiative and work effectively in an international, diverse, and geographically distributed team.
• English is mandatory.
• Curiosity, open-mindedness, creativity, willingness to challenge existing approaches, and readiness to step outside the comfort zone.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Airbus Test Environment, including the integration simulator.
