Senior RF Engineering Supervisor

Location: Newtown, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year

TTC develops integrated flight-test data acquisition and telemetry systems, including sensors, transmitters, receivers, recorders, RF networks, and ground-station analysis tools for military, spacecraft, missile, and commercial aviation programs.

What you will do

• Supervise experienced RF design professionals developing RF circuits operating from 400 MHz to 6 GHz and from milliwatt levels to 50 W CW and 500 W pulsed power.
• Lead design, simulation, analysis, validation, troubleshooting, optimization, and production release of analog, RF, and DC power circuits.
• Support requirements development, SRR, PDR, and CDR reviews, reliability and de-rating analyses, and root-cause corrective actions.
• Use RF test equipment to debug products and support customer RF link-margin analysis.
• Support sustaining activities and new product deployment across a diverse product portfolio.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, report performance to senior leadership, and support customer engagements from RFQ through product development.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university and at least 15 years of experience; an MSEE with 15 years of experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• Experience with small- and large-signal parameters, matching networks, gain analysis, active filtering, amplifiers, oscillators, mixers, filters, and PLLs.
• Experience with schematic-capture and PCB-layout tools, transmitter and receiver architectures, and RF waveforms including PCMFM, SOQPSK, BPSK, and QPSK.
• Ability to work with cross-functional design teams, support Operations, Sales, and Program Management, and work independently.
• Experience performing employee assessments, screening and hiring candidates, and managing teams against project budgets and schedules.
• Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Logic-design experience with Xilinx, Microsemi, or Intel FPGAs.
• Experience designing and implementing digital filters with MATLAB/Simulink.
• MSEE with 15 years of experience.
• Six Sigma Black Belt.
