AI Design Lead

Location: New York, United States; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Identify workflow friction and rebuild design production processes with AI while maintaining quality.
• Own the Gen-AI strategy, including standardized and scalable automated workflows in Figma Weave and similar tools.
• Set creative direction and review work with the Head of Design.
• Prioritize weekly marketing design work, coordinate stakeholders, and remove bottlenecks.
• Build scalable templates, brand pipelines, reusable web components, and self-serve asset libraries.
• Partner with Marketing on scope, timelines, campaigns, launches, and brand-product alignment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience across brand, marketing, and digital.
• Hands-on experience with AI design workflows, including generative pipelines, prompting, and automation.
• Portfolio demonstrating design processes rebuilt with AI and the resulting impact.
• Experience leading design work as a lead or principal and influencing through craft rather than formal management.
• Experience building templates, component libraries, or self-serve systems that are used by others.
• Experience working directly with marketing teams and understanding how creative supports campaigns and pipeline.
• Strong Figma skills and experience across motion, prototyping, and digital production.
• Clear communication with stakeholders at every level.

Nice to have

• Experience with node-based tools such as Figma Weave, formerly Weavy, or ComfyUI.
