Trading Operations Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Learn, execute, and improve daily processes across the trade lifecycle.
• Act as a subject matter contact for Trading Operations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, documenting findings to prevent recurrence.
• Write and maintain SOPs and control documentation.
• Work with brokers, custodians, and internal teams across the firm.
• Support senior team members with firm-wide developments and strategic projects.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in trading operations, settlements, or a closely related post-trade function.
• Undergraduate degree.
• Experience with trade or position reconciliations and break resolution.
• Ability to question and improve existing processes rather than only complete assigned tasks.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate conclusions clearly to operational and non-operational audiences.
• Interest in automation and tooling, with the ability to build smarter processes instead of repeating manual work.
• Confidence engaging cross-functionally and constructively challenging existing approaches.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of settlement flows across multiple markets.
• Familiarity with custodian or broker platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, APIs, or similar tools.
