Manager, Mortgage Loan Processing

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Salary: $87,400–$139,600 or $92,000–$147,000 annually, depending on location; incentive compensation and equity awards are also available.

What you will do

• Lead, train, motivate, and onboard mortgage loan processing staff while monitoring workloads, daily volumes, and service-level performance.
• Oversee end-to-end loan processing and maintain accurate, up-to-date loan records and communication documentation in Encompass360.
• Coordinate with Loan Originators, Underwriters, Closers, credit agencies, AMCs, title companies, employers, landlords, and other partners to complete loan files for submission.
• Support mortgage loan origination and fulfillment while ensuring a customer-focused processing experience.
• Manage staffing coverage, working hours, and overtime costs.
• Develop productivity-improvement plans, identify required people, processes, and tools, and resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of prior experience in mortgage loan processing, including at least 2+ years in management.
• Service-focused approach with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced, service-focused environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners and manage multiple projects in a changing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience processing Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA loans.
• Familiarity with Encompass360.
