Senior Shopify Web Designer

Location: Remote, Poland

Rate: USD $35–$70 per hour; freelance, invoiced monthly for hours logged.

hirify.global is a profitable premium DTC pet brand generating $50M+ in annual revenue and scaling toward $100M+, selling through Shopify, Amazon, and Chewy, with a recently launched second brand.

What you will do

• Review both websites, brand guidelines, and competitors, then present 2–3 web directions per brand within the first two weeks.
• Build a distinct, mobile-first Figma web design system for both brands, including typography, colors, spacing, components, and section templates.
• Design 8–10 signature sections per brand for mobile and desktop, including areas such as hero, product benefits, social proof, comparison, bundles, and brand story.
• Apply conversion principles through clear hierarchy, proof, benefits, calls to action, speed, and thumb-friendly mobile layouts.
• Launch major sections as split tests with the CRO Lead and compare conversion rate and revenue per visitor with the replaced versions.
• Deliver clean Figma files, assets, usage rules, and a walkthrough so the team can extend the system with AI.

Requirements

• Fully remote freelance engagement; the first website revamp project is approximately 40–80 hours over 4–8 weeks, with ongoing work afterward.
• Fluent English.
• 5+ years of website design experience.
• Portfolio of live ecommerce websites, ideally Shopify, demonstrating strong taste, creativity, and the ability to elevate existing brands without losing what works.
• Very experienced with AI image, layout, and site-building tools, using them regularly to explore directions and deliver faster.
• Ability to create Figma design systems clear enough for developers and AI tools to extend without guessing.
• Strong conversion-led design skills, including hierarchy, proof, clear calls to action, speed, and CRO principles.
• Strong Figma skills and mobile-first design experience.
• Ability to take direction from brand and CRO stakeholders while challenging decisions with better ideas when appropriate.
• Available to start within the next few weeks and turn feedback around quickly.
• Strong cultural fit with a hands-on, fast-moving, results-oriented working style.
