What you will do

• Lead the technical qualification and validation of new materials and suppliers before plant implementation.
• Represent the Mequinenza Plant in regional materials projects, innovation initiatives, and technical forums.
• Lead technical problem solving with suppliers when specifications, certificates of analysis, data, or performance do not meet expectations.
• Coordinate material qualifications and validations, providing technical data and analysis for decisions.
• Model how material parameters affect product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Support material allocation, sourcing, specification changes, supply assurance, and complex technical projects.

Requirements

• Completed or ongoing university degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand material specifications and translate technical information into manufacturing requirements.
• Ability to work with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and regional or global stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently lead technical projects and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken, are required.
