Electrical Owners Representative (Data Center)

Location: Onsite in Mons, Belgium

What you will do

• Represent the owner's interests throughout project delivery for a data center project.
• Provide technical oversight of electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Review engineering deliverables, specifications, construction documentation, FATs, SATs, and commissioning records.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, programme, compliance, risks, changes, and issue resolution.
• Attend design reviews, progress meetings, and site inspections while coordinating mechanical, CSA, commissioning, and operations stakeholders.
• Support project close-out, handover, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, construction, or project delivery.
• Proven experience on large-scale data center, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of HV/LV power distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, protection systems, earthing, and lightning protection.
• Experience managing EPC, EPCM, or major contractor interfaces.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an Owner's Representative, Client Representative, Electrical Lead, or Electrical Construction Manager.
• Experience with hyperscale data center developments.
• Knowledge of commissioning and operational readiness processes.
• Familiarity with international standards and best practices for mission-critical facilities.
