TL;DR
Software Developer with PHP (PHP): Developing front-end interfaces, back-end logic, automation solutions, and customer applications for Deutsche Telekom with an accent on PHP, Symfony, React, system integration, and IoT and connectivity solutions. Focus on designing application functionality, integrating SOAP and REST interfaces, building front-end assistants, and solving complex technical challenges across cloud and DevOps environments.
Location: Košice, Slovakia; hybrid workplace. Remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.
Salary: Base salary from €2,000 gross per month, negotiable according to seniority and previous experience; variable compensation and other financial benefits are also provided.

What you will do
- Develop front-end user interfaces and back-end logic for Deutsche Telekom Technik.
- Build front-end assistants, customer UIs, system overlays, and SOAP and REST interfaces.
- Implement application functionality defined in tickets in cooperation with the steering team and Product Owner.
- Analyze requirements and communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Develop automation solutions using agreed programming languages and tools.
- Participate in research and development projects and solve complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in the IT industry, with advanced experience in programming and application design.
- Intermediate knowledge of PHP 8+ and object-oriented programming, Symfony, and PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, and Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, system and application integration, and Git.
- Good understanding of cloud systems, DevOps concepts, and related tooling.
- Upper-intermediate English (B2) required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, willingness to learn and teach new technologies, and a self-motivated, organized approach.
