Senior Manager, EU Public Affairs

What you will do

• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and advocacy plans for priority EU policy files.
• Build trusted relationships with EU institutions, Member State representations, trade associations, NGOs, think tanks, academia, and other stakeholders.
• Represent CCEP in European trade associations, industry platforms, and multi-company coalitions; coordinate common positions and joint outreach.
• Align Public Affairs teams, Business Units, senior stakeholders, and Coca-Cola system partners across a complex matrix.
• Monitor political and stakeholder developments and provide intelligence on risks, opportunities, alliances, and engagement choices.
• Contribute to EU policy positions and consultations, particularly on packaging, circular economy, sustainability, and value-chain matters, using digital and AI-enabled tools responsibly.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Public Affairs, Government Affairs, EU Affairs, Policy, Stakeholder Engagement, or a related field.
• Experience developing and executing advocacy strategies within European institutions, trade associations, consultancies, corporate environments, or similar organisations.
• Proven experience building trusted relationships with policymakers and senior external stakeholders, including through industry associations, coalitions, or complex stakeholder networks.
• Strong understanding of EU institutions, legislative processes, and the Brussels policy landscape.
• Knowledge of sustainability, packaging, circular economy, environmental policy, or related areas, with commercial awareness of their impact on business operations and value chains.
• Experience using digital collaboration, monitoring, research, and AI-enabled tools for decision-making and engagement.
• Ability to build networks, influence with diplomacy and sound judgement, navigate complex stakeholder environments, collaborate in a matrix organisation, and communicate clearly with varied audiences.
• Degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, European Affairs, International Relations, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Fluent English required.

• FMCG, food and beverage, consumer goods, sustainability, or related sector experience.
• Postgraduate qualifications.
