AI Procurement Specialist

Location: Remote within the United States; travel 10%

What you will do

• Source GPUs, accelerated servers, networking, storage, power and cooling equipment, and colocation capacity from OEMs, ODMs, and distributors.
• Negotiate pricing, volume commitments, delivery terms, warranties, and support SLAs with hardware and infrastructure vendors.
• Automate requisition, approval routing, purchase order, and milestone or deposit payment workflows with Procurement Management.
• Track supplier allocations, lead times, delivery schedules, performance, concentration, risk, and second-source options.
• Support Accounting with three-way invoice matching, coding, variance resolution, missing invoices, credit memos, deposits, and accrual information.
• Follow procurement controls and provide documentation for audits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain, ideally in cloud, data center, semiconductor, or hardware-intensive businesses.
• Accounting background through a degree, coursework, or experience, with working knowledge of invoicing, accounts payable, GL coding, and accruals.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP or procure-to-pay system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Strong negotiation and contract skills, with the ability to work at high speed in a fast-scaling company.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to validate AI outputs against source documents, identify process improvements, catch pricing and coding errors, and handle confidential financial data responsibly.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience at a NeoCloud, hyperscaler, colocation provider, or GPU hardware vendor.
• Experience with AP or invoice automation tools and exception-handling workflows.
• Understanding of AI infrastructure, including GPUs, servers, InfiniBand/Ethernet networking, power, and cooling, sufficient to read quotes and bills of materials.
