Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE), meoSphere

Location: Betzdorf, Luxembourg; 60% onsite from the office; travel required as needed for project realization.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation, adoption, and evolution of agile-at-scale practices across the meoSphere programme.
• Develop and maintain the programme agile operating model and facilitate Programme Increment planning and key agile ceremonies.
• Coach Agile Technical Program Managers, Technical Leads, and Integrated Product Teams in agile planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Establish agile metrics, dashboards, and reporting for delivery performance, predictability, risks, and programme health.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies, identify systemic impediments, and drive resolution across programme segments.
• Facilitate Inspect & Adapt workshops, retrospectives, training, onboarding, and organisational transformation.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of experience implementing Agile delivery within large, complex technical programmes, including scaling Agile practices across multiple teams.
• Experience in aerospace, space, telecommunications, defence, software, or similarly complex engineering environments.
• Experience facilitating large-scale planning, coordination, and alignment activities involving multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of systems engineering, programme delivery, integration activities, and Integrated Product Team operating models.
• Experience working with geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated coaching, facilitation, stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and systems-thinking skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Must be eligible for “SECRET” security clearance in accordance with national regulations and EU/ESA/NATO equivalents.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Agile transformations or Agile-at-scale adoption initiatives.
• SAFe Release Train Engineer, SAFe Program Consultant, or equivalent Agile-at-scale certification.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or equivalent programme/project management certification.
• Knowledge of satellite communications, space systems, and complex systems engineering programmes.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile planning, collaboration, and delivery tools.
