TL;DR
Associate Legal Counsel (Commercial Contracts/Telecommunications): Supporting commercial teams with contract drafting, negotiation, tenders, legal research, and advice on commercial and transactional matters with an accent on international legal compliance, competition law, and risk assessment. Focus on structuring complex agreements, advising affiliates and business functions, and enabling commercial deals and public-private partnership initiatives.

What you will do

  • Support the Commercial Legal Services team and commercial groups with timely legal advice on projects, contracts, bids, and initiatives.
  • Structure, draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts and tender responhirify.global in compliance with national and international laws.
  • Research legal issues and prepare memoranda, including on competition law.
  • Advise hirify.global affiliates, subsidiaries, and other company divisions on legal and transactional matters.
  • Ashirify.globals and help avoid legal risks while supporting strategic commercial initiatives and public-private partnerships.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or LLM in law.
  • Fluency in English and French, both oral and written, is required.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, diplomatic, and presentation skills.
  • Accurate and organized working style with attention to detail, effective prioritization, and time management.
  • Proactive, autonomous, flexible, collaborative, and culturally sensitive approach.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

  • Bar qualification.
  • One to three years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or company legal department.
  • Experience in the telecommunications or media sector.
