Mobile Software Engineer 2 (Android) - Technical Platform (Android)

Location: Poznań, Poland; hybrid 4/1 model with the team based in Poznań; up to 30 days of occasional remote work.

Salary: PLN 14,600–20,825 gross per month under an employment contract, depending on skills.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy native Android UI components for hirify.global’s Design System.
• Ensure high quality, performance, responsiveness, and clean code.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and implement solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Stay current with mobile technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience developing native Android mobile applications with Kotlin.
• Understanding of Jetpack Compose and the XML View system.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Daily use of AI to support research, code review, and code creation.
• Experience cooperating closely with a Design team and familiarity with Figma.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests, or willingness to learn.
• Good written and spoken English and Polish communication skills.
• Open-minded, curious, willing to experiment, consult, and seek alternative solutions; committed to code quality and continuous development.
