Release Manager

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end release development process from release content definition through architecture, design, implementation, testing, and field delivery.
• Apply technical and analytical skills to improve the product and release process.
• Collaborate with R&D leaders, architects, tech leads, and development teams.
• Deliver storage infrastructure technology through fast-paced release cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of overall experience, including proven experience as a software engineer and release manager or in software project leadership.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical-thinking, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to self-manage, take initiative, provide technical leadership, and communicate effectively.
• Strong experience in C/C++ software engineering design, coding, integration, and debugging.
• Understanding of the Linux operating system.

Nice to have

• Solid networking knowledge, including OSI network layers and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of block-level storage and file systems.
• Python scripting experience.
