Senior Technical Documentation, Parts and Annotation Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Transform engineering drawings and bills of materials into dependency-correct assembly procedures for technical manuals.
• Identify and document industrial replacement parts using photos, nameplates, and manufacturer or distributor catalogs, including fitment and application details.
• Interpret production patterns, markers, and cutting-room plans for apparel or industrial fabrication.
• Review annotated image batches and adjudicate label accuracy against project ontologies and annotation guidelines.
• Produce defensible rationales for decisions and recommendations to capture expert reasoning for model training.
• Review and refine documents, photos, patterns, and annotation data, collaborating remotely with project coordinators and submitting deliverables through digital platforms.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in one or more of mechanical technical writing, industrial parts or application analysis, production pattern planning, or computer vision annotation quality assurance.
• Exceptional ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation, or demonstrated expertise in parts identification and catalog research.
• Strong analytical, visual, and spatial reasoning, particularly for pattern interpretation or assembly process documentation.
• Proven ability to produce clear, structured, and accurate records, reports, or manuals to industry standards.
• Experience adjudicating or reviewing work within complex ontologies or quality-control environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate reasoning in written form for project documentation.
