Software Engineer, Agents (AI)

Location: In-person at the NYC HQ in Union Square, New York City, USA

Salary: $175K–$300K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and ship end-to-end agentic systems that improve creative workflows for short-form video.
• Design agent architectures for context gathering, planning, tool selection, and reliable execution at scale.
• Integrate internal research and external state-of-the-art models into new agent experiences.
• Measure and improve agent quality in production through experimentation, evaluation frameworks, and real-world feedback.
• Work across product, machine learning, and systems engineering while owning problems end-to-end.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional industry experience.
• Experience designing and developing ML systems or agentic pipelines in production.
• Deep experience with context engineering, including RAG systems, token optimization, and context management at scale.
• Experience building evaluation systems and agentic infrastructure for context gathering, tool selection, and multi-step planning.
• Exceptional problem-solving fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate in an extremely fast-paced environment and scope and deliver projects end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent architectures.
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific use cases.
• Understanding of generative media and agentic AI technology.
• Startup founder or early-engineer experience.
• Grounded, collaborative approach and willingness to contribute broadly.
