GCM Relationship Manager II - UK (Global Capital Markets)

What you will do

• Manage client relationships and daily administration for Global Capital Markets accounts with moderate to significant complexity and risk.
• Monitor account systems, transactions, controls, cash flows, fee billing, reporting, and operational activity.
• Review legal documents and agreements, coordinate regulatory and risk matters, and work with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Audit, attorneys, advisors, and service partners.
• Research and resolve control and client-service issues while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Support sales calls, fee proposals, transaction closings, client meetings, presentations, and opportunities to expand relationships and revenue.
• Represent GCM in projects and corporate initiatives, support product and process development, and mentor less experienced associates when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of client-service experience in Global Capital Markets products or markets, or a combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 2 years in the same client-service area.
• High proficiency with personal computers and pertinent software.
• Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting legal documents.
• Experience calculating discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
• Familiarity with corporate structures, relevant laws, and regulations.
• Proven problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical skills.
• Understanding and adherence to company risk, regulatory, and internal-control standards is required.

Nice to have

• CCTS (Certified Corporate Trust Specialist) certification.
• Working knowledge of specialized internal software applications.
• Managerial or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ownership in jobs or projects.
