Trading Compliance & Technical Specialist (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Limassol, Cyprus; Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance on MT4/MT5 platforms, configurations, plugins, bridges, execution settings, and trading functionality.
• Review spreads, swaps, commissions, leverage, margins, fees, bonuses, and profit-and-loss calculations against client agreements, trading terms, and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate trading complaints and discrepancies involving execution, pricing, P&L, stop-outs, and platform incidents.
• Analyze trading histories, execution records, platform logs, and other evidence to prepare findings and recommendations.
• Support compliance monitoring, regulatory assessments, best-execution reviews, cost and charge assessments, and client-protection investigations.
• Coordinate with Dealing, Trading Operations, IT, and other departments; identify recurring risks, recommend corrective actions, and provide guidance and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in CFDs, Forex, Dealing, Trading Operations, or a closely related function.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of MT4/MT5, including configurations, execution mechanisms, plugins, and trading data.
• Solid understanding of trading conditions, pricing, liquidity, fees, commissions, bonus structures, margin, swaps, and P&L calculations.
• Experience investigating trading discrepancies, technical issues, and trading-related client complaints.
• Good understanding of regulations applicable to CFDs, Forex, and investment services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to explain complex technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel and fluency in English.
