Corporate & Tax Lawyer (Fintech): Developing tax strategies, transfer-pricing frameworks, indirect-tax analyses, and shareholder planning for multi-entity fintech, payments, and digital-asset structures with an accent on crypto, OECD documentation, and UAE/EU/UK VAT. Focus on mapping tax exposure, optimizing withholding tax and cash extraction, and producing clear memoranda for non-tax stakeholders.
🔎 We're Hiring: Corporate & Tax lawyer – Limassol, Cyprus
Core areas of responsibility:
📌 Tax Strategy & Risk
Continuous mapping of tax exposure (PE, treaty positions, anti-avoidance). Maintaining a risk register and briefing the CLO/CFO.
📌 Transfer Pricing
Building a defensible TP framework for all intragroup transactions, including proprietary technology platform licensing. Preparing documentation in line with OECD Guidelines (Master File, Local Files).
📌 Indirect Tax
Place-of-supply analysis for digital services; handling financial services exemptions (UAE/EU/UK VAT).
📌 Shareholder Planning
Withholding tax optimisation on dividends; evaluating free cash flow extraction strategies (management fees, royalty flows).
What we're looking for:
✅ Qualified lawyer or chartered tax adviser (CTA, ADIT)
✅ Minimum 7 years' practical experience in multi-entity structures (fintech, payments, digital assets)
✅ Genuine experience with high-risk industries
✅ Strong knowledge of crypto
✅ Ability to operate autonomously as a single contributor
✅ Ability to produce clear memoranda for a non-tax audience
📍 Location: Cyprus only, office-based
