Network Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and evolve modern network infrastructures for customers.
• Support network operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and resolve incidents across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Contribute to secure, reliable, scalable, and business-continuous network solutions.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams on infrastructure improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
• Depending on experience and interests, work with cloud networking, automation solutions, and hybrid infrastructures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Networking, Infrastructure, or Network & Security environments.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with network technologies and vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, or similar solutions.
• Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, and segmentation principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent English and either French or Dutch required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
• Exposure to hybrid network architectures and cloud networking services.
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tooling.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and modern security concepts.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.
• Clear written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
