Location: Kirkland, WA, with hybrid or remote options available

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement quantitative trading strategies using data science, machine learning, and applied mathematics.
• Develop and improve predictive models and algorithms for identifying investment opportunities.
• Backtest and optimize strategies for robust performance across changing market conditions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to improve model inputs and output quality.
• Research financial market behavior and develop solutions for systematic investing.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct first-class research and apply insights to real-world problems.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, R, or C++, with experience in cloud computing environments.
• Solid understanding of financial markets and systematic investment strategies.
• Track record of exceptional intellectual achievement and passion for continuous learning.
