Controls and Governance Manager (Crypto)

What you will do

• Strengthen OKX EU's first line of defense and coordinate control requirements with Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, and centralized teams.
• Maintain the Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA), design and test local controls, and manage associated reporting.
• Monitor Key Risk Indicators, report anomalies to Second Line Risk Management, and track local incidents, remediation, control enhancements, and audit actions.
• Review material outsourcing and third-party/ICT arrangements, monitor vendor performance, and escalate material issues through governance forums.
• Support local product-governance reviews for new launches, material changes, and periodic assessments.
• Improve risk identification, monitoring, and reporting through automation and data analytics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in operations, process management, or governance in a regulated environment such as fintech, crypto, SaaS, or financial services.
• Experience working in scalable, high-growth organizations with rapidly evolving operational workflows and processes.
• Strong ability to manage complex processes and ensure compliance and operational efficiency across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks, risk management processes, and compliance procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with risk, product, legal, vendor management, and other internal teams.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, drive improvements, and escalate issues.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment and taking initiative to improve governance and controls.
