Specialist Solutions Architect - AI/ML

Location: Hybrid role based in Seoul, South Korea; travel up to 30% when needed.

What you will do

• Architect production-level ML and AI workloads, including agents, end-to-end ML pipelines, training and inference optimization, cloud-native integrations, and MLOps.
• Design and guide enterprise GenAI solutions involving RAG, tool-calling and multi-agent systems, guardrails, natural-language querying, evaluation, observability, and monitoring.
• Build, scale, optimize, and productionize customer AI workloads across multiple domains.
• Provide advanced technical support to Solution Architects during technical sales, covering feature engineering, training, tracking, serving, and model monitoring.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to represent customer needs, define priorities, and influence the Databricks AI product roadmap.
• Strengthen technical expertise through cutting-edge GenAI, MLOps, and ML work, mentorship, and AI thought leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on industry ML experience in at least one relevant area.
• For an ML Engineer profile: experience building and maintaining production-grade AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure for ML application deployment, including drift monitoring.
• For an AI Engineer profile: experience with LLMs and agentic systems, including vector databases, LLM fine-tuning, AI guardrails, and deployment with HuggingFace, LangChain, and OpenAI.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience communicating or teaching technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to meet technical training and role-specific outcome expectations within 6 months of hire.
• Native Korean proficiency is required. Business-level English is preferred.

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience in a pre-sales or post-sales role.
