Software Enabling and Optimization Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Tokyo, Japan, with an additional location in Seoul, South Korea.

What you will do

• Deploy, debug, validate, and optimize Open Edge Platform software components on hirify.global Architecture systems.
• Design and develop robotics AI, generative AI, and visual analytics applications for hirify.global edge platforms.
• Provide sample code, technical documentation, installation guidance, and demonstrations for edge customers.
• Troubleshoot Linux software installation issues and optimize AI pipelines across CPUs, GPUs, and NPUs.
• Support customers across the Asia-Pacific region and resolve real-time processing requirements for robotics and physical AI applications.
• Analyze AI benchmark reports and provide comparative insights on hirify.global's competitive advantages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, JavaScript, and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting in Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of AI tools and domains, including OpenCV, GStreamer, ROS programming, and physical AI applications.
• Experience with version control systems and open-source platforms such as Git and GitHub.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global software components such as OpenVINO and DL Streamer.
• Knowledge of AI benchmarking and benchmark report interpretation for competitive analysis.
• Understanding of RTSP, TCC, and TSN real-time protocols for robotics applications.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
