Manager, Controls and Governance (Crypto)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid

Salary: $107,002–$160,503 per year, plus potential performance bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Support KYC/KYB onboarding pipelines, identify friction points, accelerate throughput, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Partner with US Risk to monitor KRIs, implement the risk framework, and support first-line risk management activities.
• Lead Compliance and Legal reviews of marketing campaigns, product launches, promotional materials, and client communications.
• Align Client Support operations with regulatory requirements and resolve customer-impacting compliance issues.
• Coordinate executive reporting on US market performance, opportunities, risks, controls, and operational results.
• Support new product risk assessments, policy and procedure development, RCSAs, risk registers, and control-effectiveness activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Operations, Program Management, Compliance Operations, Governance, or Risk Management.
• Experience in fintech, crypto/Web3, or heavily regulated financial services.
• Builder mindset and comfort working in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments, moving between tactical execution and strategic market initiatives.
• Proven experience leading cross-departmental incident response, mapping workflows, and executing post-incident remediation.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships across control and first-line teams.
