Rotational Engineer, Central Technology (Gaming)

Base pay: $30.53–$56.48 hourly in the U.S.

hirify.global develops, publishes, and distributes interactive entertainment, including Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and Guitar Hero. Central Technology supports development studios through engineering and research teams focused on game technology.

What you will do

• Complete three six-month rotations across hirify.global game studios and Central Technology teams during an 18-month program starting in March 2026.
• Implement features deep within game-specific engines and support the services and features developed.
• Solve and fix online and multiplayer functionality.
• Work across possible functions including game security, graphics, online services, tools, and Call of Duty Mobile.
• Collaborate with studios and teams while developing technology for leading AAA game titles.

Requirements

• Be starting a programming career and have completed basic training in C++; a C++ test is part of the process.
• Have experience with network programming, including TCP, UDP, security, and NAT.
• Understand client/server architecture and have database development experience.
• Understand 3D math, vectors, matrices, quaternions, and general linear algebra.
• Be motivated to learn new areas of development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lua, Python, or Java.
• A portfolio, code sample, or GitHub profile.
