Director, US Quality (Analytical Technical Solutions) Lead (Pharmaceutical Quality)

Location: Hybrid role based in De Soto, Kansas, USA; relocation is domestic. Applications are limited to US and Puerto Rico residents.

Salary: $156,900–$247,000 annual base salary for the primary location, plus potential annual bonus and long-term incentive.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the US Analytical Technical Solutions organization, including organizational design, staffing, budget planning, hiring, governance, and coaching.
• Plan and execute the analytical project portfolio across multiple sites and platforms.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution, milestones, metrics, reporting, governance meetings, and issue resolution.
• Act as the primary partner for analytical topics, align priorities with site management, quality operations, and regional leaders, and represent progress to senior leadership.
• Oversee analytical support activities including method remediation, robustness and improvement, site-to-site transfers, and new product commercialization transfers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biological, or analytical science, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in the research, manufacture, and testing of pharmaceutical and/or biological products, including sound knowledge of key analytical technologies.
• Experience with analytical method development, validation, robustness, and transfer.
• Proven experience shaping, developing, and leading multiple teams and employees in matrix organizations.
• Strong project execution and leadership skills, including leading multifaceted projects in complex environments.
• Strong communication, networking, behavioral, advocacy, lobbying, and alliance-building skills.
• End-to-end understanding of pharmaceutical business processes and holistic thinking.
• Flexibility in working schedules and willingness to travel; travel is expected at 25%.
• A valid driving license is required.
