Product Owner, Sportsbook (iGaming)

Location: Remote, Medellín; occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Own, maintain, prioritize, and refine the sportsbook product backlog in alignment with the product roadmap.
• Translate epics and product requirements into scoped user stories with functional, quality, experience, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Represent the product in standups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and execution; clarify requirements and unblock engineers, designers, and QA.
• Make sprint prioritization decisions, collaborate on test coverage and edge cases, review completed work, and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Align delivery with product intent, success metrics, KPIs, and analytics instrumentation while communicating progress, risks, blockers, and scope changes.
• Incorporate regulatory, compliance, and responsible gaming requirements; verify market-specific betting and promotional features before release and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a similar delivery-facing product role in an agile software development environment.
• Strong familiarity with agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban, backlog management tools such as JIRA and Asana, and user story writing.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in sports betting, iGaming, online casino, fintech, or adjacent consumer technology is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information systems, data science, marketing, economics, engineering, or a relevant field is preferred.
• Ability to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally.
