Company

hirify.global provides digital-first K–12 curriculum solutions and develops Curriculum-Informed AI technology to support personalized instruction.

What you will do

  • Translate learning science into instructional examples, prototype content, design rules, and testable hypotheses for AI-enabled experiences.
  • Build and refine domain knowledge graphs connecting concepts, prerequisite skills, misconceptions, and cross-domain relationships.
  • Create learning activities, worked examples, assessment tasks, and rubrics for engineering prototypes and evaluations.
  • Work with product and engineering colleagues to test interactions, identify instructional gaps, and revise content in short build cycles.
  • Run lightweight learner sessions and rapid checks, using observation and performance data to guide improvements while explaining evidence limits.
  • Evaluate AI interactions and generated content for instructional quality, accuracy, accessibility, and bias; investigate learner use of AI assistance and build recurring-failure test cases.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in learning sciences, educational psychology, cognitive science, or a related field, plus at least 3 years of applied learning design or research experience; an acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Hands-on experience building instructional materials and prototypes, with the ability to show artifacts, explain design choices, and describe improvements made through testing.
  • Ability to model domain knowledge, prerequisites, misconceptions, and cross-subject connections using concept maps, knowledge graphs, or structured representations.
  • Skill in assessment design, rubric development, and rapid evaluation, including using learner data and observation to improve prototypes without overstating findings.
  • Comfort using authoring tools, spreadsheets, and AI tools to create and revise materials and provide engineers with clear examples and structured inputs.
  • Initiative and adaptability in a small team, with a commitment to improving education.

Nice to have

  • Experience with human-AI interaction, knowledge modeling, or rapid product development.

Culture & Benefits

  • Regular full-time position reporting to the Senior Director of Data & AI.
  • Small, entrepreneurial R&D team with opportunities to experiment, collaborate closely with engineers, and iterate quickly.
  • Health, dental, and vision plans, including medical plans with zero employee premiums, plus a 401(k) plan with company match.
  • 16 paid holidays, winter shutdown, paid time off, paid bonding leave, maternity and fertility/family-building benefits, and mental health resources.
  • Life and disability insurance, pre-tax savings plans, paid volunteer time off, tuition reimbursement, and professional development programs.
  • Work-from-home opportunities supporting work-life balance.

Hiring process

  • Applicants should be prepared to show instructional artifacts, explain design decisions, and describe improvements made through testing.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months because limited travel may be required.
  • Recruitment agencies should not submit resumes; unsolicited agency resumes are not accepted through the application system, to employees, or to other organization locations.
