Principal Product Manager, AI

What you will do

• Define the long-term AI product vision and multi-quarter strategy for proprietary ML models, agent infrastructure, LLM judges, evaluation systems, and the knowledge graph.
• Partner with Machine Learning, Data Science, and Engineering to translate customer problems into model capabilities, experiments, data requirements, and product decisions.
• Define how agents understand customer goals, use tools and information, request approval, and provide transparency, control, and override capabilities.
• Own evaluation datasets, launch criteria, failure analysis, and production monitoring across task success, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Advance AI evaluation frameworks and quality standards across hirify.global while helping product teams prepare AI products for launch.
• Identify AI opportunities for creators, brands, and consumers; influence product strategy, technical direction, investment decisions, and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including complex technical products, multi-quarter strategy, and influence on product direction and business outcomes.
• Experience shipping and improving AI/ML products in production, including LLM applications, AI agents, or model-backed workflows with measurable customer adoption and business impact.
• Strong technical fluency and direct experience with ML engineers and applied scientists across model requirements, experiments, model behavior, system architecture, data quality, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Deep expertise in evaluating AI-powered products and non-deterministic model or agent behavior, including evaluation frameworks, failure analysis, and production-readiness practices.
• Hands-on experience with prototypes, evaluation tools, and data analysis for validating product ideas, diagnosing AI behavior, and improving product quality.
• Strong product judgment and ability to translate technical capabilities into customer experiences while balancing business priorities and technical constraints.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives, influencing strategic product and investment decisions, and aligning senior leaders without direct authority.
• Understanding of responsible AI, including reliability, privacy, safety, transparency, and human oversight.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; opportunity-focused, prioritization-oriented, adaptable, growth-minded, and committed to operational excellence.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; no new employment visa sponsorship is offered.
