Lead Systems Engineer/Integrator (Top Secret)

Salary: $158,132.00–$268,824.00 annually

What you will do

• Lead technical development and support across government subdomains, systems, tools, components, and content management platforms.
• Manage web development across the lifecycle, including change, risk, issue management, QA guidance, responsive websites, web forms, and UI/UX audits.
• Lead systems administration, security support, configuration management, and technical guidance on government policies and federal requirements.
• Develop, test, update, release, and maintain public-facing iOS, Android, and Apple Watch applications, including bug fixes, OS compatibility testing, and app store updates.
• Use specialized tools to retrain AI for social media data interpretation and sentiment analysis, and manipulate Unified Crime Reporting data and tables for web display.
• Work with stakeholders and less experienced engineers, manage expectations, coordinate user training, and operate within an agile development process.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance are required.
• Ability to work out of facilities in Washington, DC is required.
• High school diploma plus relevant certifications.
• 8+ years of experience delivering resilient, well-tested, consumer-facing enterprise web applications and large public websites.
• 5+ years of cloud and web development experience in public and private virtual cloud environments, including responsive public-facing websites.
• 5+ years of application development using Python, TAL, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, HTML5, and/or CSS3, including data and table manipulation for optimized web display.
• 5+ years of experience with web platforms and databases, including Plone, Zope, Drupal, WordPress, PostgreSQL, or other modern RDBMS technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with Section 508 accessibility, web security best practices, and applicable federal mandates and regulations for public-facing websites.
• 5+ years of mobile application development and maintenance, including iOS, Android, and Apple Watch applications, bug fixes, OS beta and compatibility testing, app store policies, and emerging features.

Nice to have

• BA, BS, or another advanced degree in a related field.
• Government cloud or government cloud environment experience.
• Django and API development experience.
• FBI experience.
• Experience with NGINX, Varnish, or Apache reverse proxy servers.
