Software Development Engineer – 2027 (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate innovative products and scalable, reliable services with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Break down ambiguous problems, contribute to technical discussions, and develop maintainable code using sound design practices.
• Use GenAI and AI-powered development tools while critically validating and integrating generated code.
• Review code, document technical decisions, and participate in agile CI/CD practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, including on-call operational responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in an academic or professional setting.
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles.
• Currently pursuing or obtaining a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS; SQL or NoSQL databases; open-source contributions; version control; or complex-system debugging and troubleshooting.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, take ownership from design through operation, and understand the software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem decomposition, problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Previous technical internship or demonstrated project experience.
