Building System Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support replacement of mechanical building systems and utilities, including air compressors, chillers, boilers, heating systems, and HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with Utility Plant Technicians.
• Support construction, remodeling, renovation, equipment upgrade, and maintenance projects through concept development, engineering design support, scope-of-work development, and contractor coordination.
• Inspect work in progress and existing facilities equipment, document deficiencies, and support repair recommendations and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Manufacturing, Operations, and project teams to resolve issues, improve reliability and cost performance, and complete engineering assignments.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• Graduating with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related mechanical or engineering field from an accredited program.
• Overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing required.
• Written and verbal English fluency required.
• Availability to travel up to 10% required.

• Troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude with industrial or commercial mechanical systems such as chillers, boilers, air compressors, HVAC, or related utilities.
• Understanding of system design parameters, safety and environmental shutdown scenarios, preventive maintenance, electronic equipment controls, or facilities project execution.
