What you will do

• Design a compact on-chip solder-joint resistance sensor for safety-critical automotive and robotics applications.
• Target a 200 mΩ measurement range with 100 μΩ resolution while minimizing the force current.
• Improve absolute accuracy over time through ratiometric measurement with an on-chip reference resistor.
• Minimize the prototype die size.
• Design and tape out a prototype chip in 160 nm technology.

Requirements

• Interest in designing on-chip resistance measurement solutions.
• Ability to address low-resistance measurement, resolution, force-current, accuracy, and die-size constraints.
