IT Security Architect with Splunk Linux

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal, 2 days per week. Candidates must already be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Design security architecture for new applications in alignment with infrastructure standards.
• Administer and support Splunk, Linux, and Windows Server environments.
• Manage incidents and monitoring against defined SLAs.
• Collect cloud security logs across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Collaborate with development, systems administration, DBA, and networking teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in IT security and application support.
• Experience with Splunk, Linux, and Windows Server administration.
• Experience designing security architecture for new applications according to infrastructure standards.
• Experience with incident management and SLA-based monitoring.
• Fluent English at B2 level.
• Availability for hybrid work in Porto or Lisbon, 2 days per week.
• Must already be based in Portugal and have Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security log collection on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with TheHive, n8n, and Trellix HX.
