Junior Technical Support Analyst (Python)

Location: Remote across Romania; Bucharest or Iasi, Romania. Working hours: 14:00–22:00 EEST.

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve production issues and requests with Services, Product, Support, and Engineering teams.
• Use PostgreSQL, Django, and Python to research issues, implement short-term solutions, and perform data changes and bulk corrections.
• Own production issues, manage escalations, prioritize tickets, and maintain financial data integrity.
• Support technical customer implementations involving sensitive financial data.
• Manage application servers, deployments, and troubleshooting across lower and production environments.
• Document technical work instructions and recommend operational and technical improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar technical role, including Python scripting, SQL, and Django.
• Knowledge of SQL scripting and databases.
• Ability to read and analyze application logs.
• Version control experience, such as Git.
• Experience in a fast-paced, technical support-oriented role.
• Effective communication, collaboration, independent time and priority management, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Security and privacy awareness, strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to explore new technologies.

Nice to have

• Linux/Unix and Bash scripting experience.
• JavaScript or TypeScript experience.
• Open-source software or web application development experience.
• Experience configuring and populating a knowledge base tool.
• Experience supporting technologies in the financial or clinical trial space.
• Experience with OWASP security best practices.
