Scrum Master

Location: Bratislava, Austria; occasional travel to Vienna required.

Salary: minimum EUR 2,500 gross per month for a full-time position; actual salary depends on qualifications and expectations.

What you will do

• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives with clear purposes and actionable outcomes.
• Coach teams toward self-management, shared ownership, cross-functionality, and practical adoption of Agile principles.
• Remove blockers, manage dependencies and conflicting priorities, and improve delivery flow.
• Partner with the Product Owner and Solution Manager on backlog readiness, prioritisation, delivery transparency, and demand management.
• Drive continuous improvement across team effectiveness, delivery predictability, stakeholder collaboration, and wider Agile adoption.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience in product teams.
• Strong practical understanding of the Scrum Guide, Scrum accountabilities, events, artifacts, and commitments.
• Demonstrated experience implementing improvements that increased team effectiveness, delivery predictability, transparency, or delivery flow.
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills, including building self-managing teams and addressing conflicts constructively.
• Ownership, initiative, curiosity, willingness to learn, ability to challenge the status quo, and follow-through on improvements.
• Ability to influence Product Owners, developers, stakeholders, and management and promote Agile principles beyond Scrum events.
• Fluent English required.
• Willingness to travel to Vienna occasionally.

Nice to have

• Scrum Master certification such as PSM I/II or CSM; practical knowledge and demonstrated experience are valued more than certification alone.
