SW Test Means and Simulations Engineer (Avionics): Developing, deploying, and maintaining software test means and simulations for embedded software verification and validation in software and system test benches with an accent on avionics simulation code, hardware/software integration, and validation documentation. Focus on implementing C/C++/C# simulation interfaces, testing embedded hardware and software, and supporting quality gates across the software lifecycle.

What you will do
- Develop, deploy, maintain, and validate software test means, including hardware, software, and simulations for embedded software verification and validation.
- Develop and maintain avionics software test simulation source code and software interfaces.
- Produce simulation code specifications and validation documentation, contributing to their acceptance.
- Perform peer reviews and contribute to project follow-up, system and software requirements reviews, and development reviews.
- Support software lifecycle deliverables, change management, product quality assurance, maturity reviews, and quality gates.
- Apply agile working practices and support engineering teams in achieving project goals.
Requirements
- Academic studies in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with C, C#, and C++ programming and basic Linux use.
- Experience with electronics and system integration laboratory design, test means, and testing.
- Knowledge of embedded software and hardware internals and avionics.
- Knowledge of aeronautical and non-aeronautical communication standards and protocols; ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and RS-485/232/422 are relevant.
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, protocol analysers, and multimeters.
- Knowledge of software simulation tools such as EASI and ARTIST or similar, Git, SVN, DOORS, Jira, software IDEs, MATLAB/Simulink, and office software.
- Proactivity, responsibility, independence, open-mindedness, team spirit, curiosity, and good communication skills.
- English at C1 level is desired, with good communication ability.
