TL;DR
Data Extraction and Operations Analyst (SQL) (e-commerce data): Building and validating e-receipt data extractors and large-scale analyses for U.S. e-commerce data with an accent on SQL, Regex, data quality, and proprietary extraction technology. Focus on debugging parsing templates, investigating anomalies, optimizing Databricks notebooks, and improving operational processes through automation and UAT projects.
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid schedule with 3 days working from home and 2 days from the office.
Compensation: up to €2,000 monthly.

What you will do
- Build data extractors for e-receipts using proprietary markup language and Regex.
- Debug, fine-tune, and validate extraction templates with SQL and BI tools.
- Run data quality checks, investigate anomalies in U.S. retail data, and create reports for client-facing teams.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and Databricks notebooks for large-scale analysis.
- Improve processes and tools through automation, UATs, and new-process onboarding.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and client-facing teams while maintaining technical and operational documentation.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in data operations, analytics, or tech-related roles.
- Solid SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, and CTEs.
- Logical and analytical mindset with the ability to tackle complex tasks and identify data patterns.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of e-commerce data and industry trends.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or Databricks.
- Previous experience in QA or data validation.
- Experience working in agile environments and understanding of basic software development processes.
