What you will do
- Analyze large datasets with SQL and Snowflake to identify trends, measure operational performance, and find improvement opportunities.
- Develop analytical frameworks, dashboards, and reporting solutions for sportsbook performance, including Bet Success Rate.
- Perform deep-dive analyses, identify root causes, and recommend actionable solutions for operational challenges.
- Collaborate with Analytics teams to define data requirements, measurement frameworks, and data-access improvements.
- Partner with Trading Operations to translate business challenges into analytical solutions that improve efficiency and manage risk.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to support operational initiatives and business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of professional or academic experience in Analytics or Data Science.
- Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake, including querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets.
- Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations.
- Knowledge of analytical methods, data analysis techniques, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including investigating complex datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, adaptability to changing priorities, and eagerness to develop expertise in the digital sportsbook industry.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Python or R.
