TL;DR
Software Engineer (.NET) (Fintech): Building scalable web applications, microservices, and secure RESTful APIs for fintech and financial-services solutions with an accent on .NET, C#, cloud-native architectures, and third-party integrations. Focus on designing high-performance APIs, owning end-to-end feature delivery, and improving observability, security, testing, and deployment practices.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid schedule with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office

Salary: Up to MYR 8,000 per month

What you will do

  • Design and develop scalable web applications and microservices using .NET Core and C#.
  • Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
  • Own feature delivery from requirements and estimation through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Improve code quality through mentorship, pair programming, design reviews, and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with product, mobile, and design teams on cohesive user solutions.
  • Apply CI/CD, observability, performance tuning, and security best practices in cloud environments.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core and C#.
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and Web API.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and familiarity with cloud-native patterns, including containers, serverless, and infrastructure as code.
  • Understanding of software design principles, SOLID, domain-driven design, and test-driven development.
  • Hands-on experience integrating third-party services and using OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication and authorization standards.
  • Frontend fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus collaboration experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
